writing after eight

i spent last weekend in Victoria, and had an incredible 2 days off.
on Saturday morning, we were all up by 7:30 in the morning, and all in kind of goofy moods. we congregated on our giant couch and giggled like it was Christmas or something. i spent most of the weekend goofing off
with my sister . . . we shopped, had bubble tea and pocky's, and watched movies. all the things i love, with a person i love - perfect.

things are finally starting to settle down at work, or maybe i am just getting used to it i don't know. but now is the season for all the mega yachts . . . i love it. i have been asked twice already to join the crew on some of these boats, and believe me, it is very tempting. we had a 90' boat in the other day called "Que Sera," from Jaluit. uh what? ya i didn't know where it was either. It is in the Marshall Islands just above Australia. It was one of the most beautiful boats i have ever seen, and the crew were all incredibly nice as well. they are heading down to Mexico now for a couple months - and the skipper took a liking to me, so invited me along. too bad i don't have a passport. they took on a whopping 34,000L (no heart attacks please) of fuel, and left me a nice tip. yippee.

today, we had a 150' boat in called "After Eight." it was just passing through, so didn't take on any fuel (shucks) but they gave me a crew t-shirt which i was pretty stoked about. I'm going to wear it all the time, and pretend that i live on the boat.
