i have always felt that blogs should have stellar introductions. its like the opening sentence that gets the reader hooked.
but i don't really know how to do that. so instead . . . i have decided to randomly write down any thoughts that come to my mind - things i think you should know about me.
so here goes :

-i adore chocolate.
-i don't really like running. but i love the feeling of accomplishment after a run.
-i am in the middle of a year at bible school (capernwray - thetis island) i love it and hate it.
-i can be kind of a neat freak sometimes. and other times not at all. thats the story of my life :)
-i love rice krispies. and granola with fruit and yogurt. mmm
-i live in a cottage with 5 other girls - i am learning so much about community and friendship.
-i am really groggy in the mornings when i just wake up - people like to make fun of me :)
-i really hate doing dishes. but if i have to do them - i would choose to do them alone.
-i love baths - when the house is empty, and i can take my time.
-i don't really like early mornings. or late nights.
-i love to fold clothes. its sounds weird even saying that, but i truly truly do.
-one day i hope to have lots and lots of kids.
-i hate the feel and sound of cardboard (you know, the squeaky kind)
-i am very media illiterate.
-i hate hospitals.
-i love the ocean. the smell. the sound. its always calms me.
-i love the summer, when i'm on a beach laying in the sun drinking iced tea
-i love the fall - when i can wear pants and flip flops and go for long walks at night.
-i love the winter - the sting of the air on your cheeks, and scarves . .
-i love the spring - especially in bc, with all the flowers in bloom, and the grass is so green.
-what really annoys me is soggy pant hems. ugh.
-i love country music. and jazzy blues stuff. anything romantic :)
-i love photography - and the satisfaction of taking a picture that expresses what you can't say with words.
-i have an obsession with taking perfect notes in class - if i'm not satisfied, i'll rewrite them.
-i'm not really that adventuresome . . . at least not in the common ways. i don't like to jump off buildings or travel the world alone - but i want to serve God with my whole heart. and sometimes i think thats even more adventuresome. that an having a house with 8 kids in it :)
-i can be very quiet sometimes . . . and very loud at other times. it depends who i'm with, and what we're doing.
-i need alone time everyday . . . i can't be around people all the time. i love being with people, but it drains me - i need time to think, and just be quiet, or else i get grumpy :)
-i love worn in jeans. just jeans period, i own so many.
-i love reading. i could read for days. anything and everything.
-if i get married, then i want to travel. i have always thought it would be more fun travelling if you could do it with your spouse. just take a year off and go all over the place.
-i have always wanted to be a teacher. but the job situation for teachers is not very good right now, so i am going to hold off on that dream.
-i hope to go on a missions trip one day soon. i would love to go to africa, and work in an orphanage . . . for 6 months or something.
